How This Started

I'm a full-time firefighter in the DFW area. A few years back, I needed roof work on my own place. I called contractor after contractor. What I found was heartbreaking: rushed inspections, vague promises, and crews who treated my roof like a Tuesday task before moving on to Wednesday. I knew there had to be a better way because I'd grown up around it. My grandfather ran a roofing company in Laredo. My dad built his own landscaping and construction business from scratch. They taught me that your name on a truck means something.

So I started reaching out to guys I know—fellow firefighters, people I trust with my life every shift. Most of them are still active full-time with the department.
